THE ELEMENTAL NATURE OF RITUAL
Staff Reflection workshops

Explore the many ways that symbols and signals from the natural word have, and continue to be, an important way to share story, create ritual and develop a connection with nature, self and community.

Session Overview

A series of practical activities invite participants to engage their heads, hearts and hands in this reflective, engaging and energising workshop. We explore the work of mystics and philosophers who found their truth in nature and how a 'change of heart, a change of habit, and a change to the way we pay attention to the world around us,' (Pope Francis) manifests in our daily habits. Labyrinths, mandalas, clay work, the magic of fire and earth's treasures are some of the materials and tools we use with intention and purpose.

A student version of this workshop is also available.

  • Various options exist to suit a range of experiences.

  • This workshop may feature as one part of a staff reflection or professional development day OR a half/full day program can be developed for you, based on the guiding themes.
