
Terms and Conditions - Outside the Box Learning
These terms set out how I work with you when you engage my services as an education consultant. They’re here to make sure we’re on the same page, so things run smoothly and we can focus on creating great outcomes together.
1. What I Do
I provide tailored education consulting services, which may include:

Professional learning workshops, coaching, and mentoring

Curriculum and program design

Writing and developing resources
-
STEM, nature-based, and play-based learning experiences

Project support for schools, OSHC, and community/industry partnerships
The exact scope of work will always be agreed in writing before we begin.
2. Fees and Payment

I’ll provide a clear quote or proposal before starting any work.

Invoices are payable within 14 days unless we agree on something different.

Travel, accommodation, or materials (if needed) will be discussed and agreed before being charged.

Late payments may incur a 5% monthly fee.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Life happens – if you need to change plans, please let me know as soon as possible.

Cancelling within 14 days of the booking: 50% fee applies.

Cancelling within 7 days: full fee applies.
Where possible, we’ll reschedule rather than cancel.
4. Resources and Intellectual Property

Any materials or resources I create for you remain my intellectual property unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

You’re welcome to use them internally in your organisation, but they can’t be reproduced, adapted, or shared publicly without my permission.
5. Confidentiality

I respect your privacy and will keep any information you share with me confidential unless I’m legally required to disclose it.

I may use de-identified examples of our work for future presentations or promotion unless you ask me not to.
6. Liability

I’ll always deliver services with care, professionalism, and in line with agreed outcomes.

I’m not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from how advice, resources, or training are used, except where required by law.
7. Your Part
To help me deliver the best results, I’ll need you to:

Provide access to any relevant information, staff, and spaces

Ensure the work environment meets health and safety requirements
8. Unforeseen Events
If something out of our control (illness, natural disaster, government restrictions) prevents the work from going ahead as planned, we’ll work together to find a fair solution.
9. Governing Law
These terms are based on South Australian law, and both of us agree to work under that jurisdiction.
10. Agreement
When you book my services, you’re agreeing to these Terms and Conditions unless we’ve made a different arrangement in writing.
